Anjali Sosale of WaterBridge Ventures is working to make institutional seed funding faster and simpler for first-time founders. WaterBridge is leading a group of about 15 venture funds behind an effort called Fast Forward, which aims to cut the time and friction that early founders face when raising their first institutional round.
The pitch is to fix common pain points in early fundraising, where new founders often spend months navigating a slow, opaque process. By coordinating a set of funds around a quicker path, the initiative tries to give rookie entrepreneurs a clearer route to their first cheque.
