BimaKavach received approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India to operate as a direct insurance broker. The licence lets the insurtech company widen the corporate insurance products it offers, with a focus on small and medium enterprises.
BimaKavach is a WaterBridge portfolio company. In 2022 it had raised $2 million from investors including WaterBridge Ventures, Blume Ventures, Arali Ventures and Eximius Ventures.
