Loopworm raised $3.25 million in a pre-Series A round led by WaterBridge Ventures and Enrission India Capital, a Japanese venture firm. The company uses silkworms to produce feed-grade and recombinant proteins, and will use the funds to scale manufacturing and move its technology toward commercial volumes.

Ankit Alok Bagaria and Abhi Gawri co-founded the business.
