WaterBridge Ventures booked an early exit from Unacademy, realising a 150% internal return on the position. The firm had put $1 million into the online learning company in 2016, a deal that was the first investment out of its maiden fund, the $30 million WaterBridge Ventures Fund-I. Managing partner Manish Kheterpal spoke about the transaction and the thinking behind the early sale.
